These terms apply to specific hosting and related products offered by Petal Host. They supplement our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Shared, Unlimited, and WordPress Hosting
- Includes cPanel access with standard resources.
- Free website migration and 99.9% uptime guarantee under our SLA.
- Maximum inode limit: 800,000 per account.
- Email sending limits: 500 emails/hour, 2000 emails/day.
- Database size limit: 5 GB.
2. VPS Hosting (OpenVZ)
- OpenVZ-based virtual servers
- Customer is responsible for software, security, and backups unless a managed package is subscribed.
- Maximum inode limit: 2,000,000.
3. Reseller Hosting
- Includes WHM access; WHMCS available in specific plans only.
- You must enforce your own client AUP and billing policies.
- Maximum inode limit: 800,000 per reseller sub-account.
- Email sending limits per sub-account: 500 emails/hour, 2000 emails/day.
- Database size limit: 5 GB.
4. Email Hosting
- IMAP/POP3, webmail, spam filtering provided.
- Automated scripts for mailing are strictly prohibited.
- Use of email accounts for campaigns or mass mail must use Mailing List features.
- Violations may result in domain/mail suspension.
- Prohibited activities:
- Unsolicited emails.
- Emails sent via automation scripts.
- Invalid recipient addresses (bounce management violations).
- Triple bounces or invalid sender addresses.
- Malicious/spam content (intentional or from infected systems).
5. SSL Certificates
- We offer DV-level SSL issued by recognized Certificate Authorities.
- Auto-renewal applies unless cancelled. Reissuance may incur fees.
6. Domains
- Governed by our Domain Registration Agreement.
- Grace periods vary by TLD. Refer to your client portal.
7. Resource Usage & Storage
- Storage of large media files, backups, logs, and email archives is not allowed on shared or reseller plans.
- Zip/backup/archive/error log files may be deleted without notice to free up space.
- Large trash folders may be automatically emptied to optimize storage.
- Running crons with intervals less than 15 minutes is prohibited.
- Database size limit on shared, reseller, and WordPress plans: 5 GB.
- Running spiders, web indexers, IRC software, or any P2P software is strictly prohibited.
- Use of excessive CPU/memory/resources is restricted. We may suspend or throttle abusive accounts.
8. Support Scope
- We support standard server software, stacks, and panels.
- Support for custom applications or scripts may require a managed services agreement.
- Support channels: email, ticket, chat, phone (availability based on plan).
9. Upgrades & Plan Changes
- Upgrades or downgrades can be managed through the client portal.
- Downgrades may result in data loss if resources exceed new limits
10. Termination & Refunds
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
- Domain and SSL purchases are non-refundable once processed.
11. Liability
Our liability is limited as outlined in our Terms of Service.
12. Amendments
We may update these Product Terms at any time. Notifications will be provided via the client area or email.
