Effective Date: Aug 1, 2025
This Domain Registration Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between you (the "Registrant") and Petal Host ("Registrar", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering a domain name through our services, you agree to the terms set forth in this Agreement and all applicable ICANN policies.
1. Domain Registration
We act as a reseller of domain names through ICANN-accredited registrars. All domain registrations are subject to availability and compliance with the respective registry policies.
2. Accurate Information
You agree to provide and maintain accurate, current, and complete information in connection with your domain registration, including:
- Registrant name and organization
- Mailing address, email address, and telephone number
- Technical and administrative contact information
Failure to provide accurate information may result in suspension or cancellation of your domain.
3. Renewal and Expiration
It is your responsibility to ensure timely renewal of your domain. Petal Host will attempt to notify you prior to expiration, but we are not liable for any failure to renew. Domains not renewed on time may be deleted or acquired by third parties.
4. Transfers
Domain transfers are subject to ICANN policies. We do not prevent transfers except as allowed under ICANN rules, such as during the first 60 days of registration or renewal. You must provide an accurate EPP code and confirm transfer requests via email.
5. Domain Disputes
Domain disputes are governed by the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP). You agree to be bound by decisions resulting from such dispute resolution procedures.
6. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or cancel your domain registration without notice if:
- You violate this Agreement or other applicable policies
- Your domain is used for abusive, fraudulent, or illegal purposes
- ICANN or a registry operator requires us to do so
7. ICANN Compliance
You agree to comply with ICANN policies and guidelines, including:
- The Registrant Rights and Responsibilities
- The Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP)
- WHOIS Accuracy and Contact Obligations
8. Privacy and WHOIS
Some registries publish domain contact details through the WHOIS database. You may request domain privacy services where available. However, ICANN mandates that accurate information be maintained even if hidden.
9. Modifications
Petal Host may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
