At PetalHost, we aim to provide a reliable and transparent experience to all our customers. The following refund and billing policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you may be eligible to receive a refund for services purchased through PetalHost. By using our services, you agree to abide by this policy.
1. General Refund Guidelines
Refunds are available only for certain services and under specific conditions. We offer a structured refund window for eligible hosting services, limited to the first term of a new purchase. Refunds are not applicable on renewals, add-ons, or upgrades.
Refunds will only be issued if a cancellation request is submitted properly and your account details are accurate and up to date. Any refund initiated to an incorrect or inactive payment account may fail and PetalHost will not be held responsible.
Additionally, refunds will not be granted in cases where an account was suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Hosting Services Refund Policy
Refunds are applicable only to the following hosting plans: Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, WordPress Hosting, and Unlimited Hosting Plans. Each individual hosting service is eligible for a refund based on the following timeframes:
- 0–30 days: 100% refund
- 31–60 days: 50% refund
- 61–90 days: 30% refund
- After 90 days: No refund
Refunds apply only to the initial term of a newly purchased hosting plan. Subsequent renewals of the same service are not refundable. Each new hosting plan (under the same account or domain) is treated independently and is eligible for refund based on the above terms, but only once per plan.
3. VPS Hosting Refund Policy
VPS services are refundable only when purchased with an Annual (12-month) billing cycle or higher. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the initial purchase date.
If these conditions are met, the unused portion of the service (e.g., 11 months) will be refunded. Any monthly value will be calculated based on current monthly pricing.
The following are non-refundable even if purchased with a VPS plan:
- Control panel or software licenses (e.g., cPanel, Softaculous, etc.)
- Dedicated IP addresses
- One-time setup or migration charges
4. Domain Name Refund Policy
Domain name registrations are refundable within 5 days of purchase only if the domain registrar allows cancellations. If the registrar does not support cancellation or refund, we will not be able to issue a refund.
Domain name transfers are refundable only if both of the following conditions are met:
- The transfer is unsuccessful
- The refund request is made within 30 days of payment
No refund will be given for domain renewals, successful transfers, or restoration/reactivation charges.
5. Free Domain with Hosting Plans
If a free domain is included with your hosting plan, the cost of the domain will be deducted from any approved refund amount. Once a domain is registered, it becomes the customer’s property and cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Even if the hosting account is cancelled, the domain will remain under your control for the duration of its registration period.
6. Non-Refundable Products and Services
The following services are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Domain renewals, transfers, and restoration/reactivation fees
- SSL certificates (paid or free after activation)
- One-time services such as malware removal, migrations, or restorations
- Dedicated IP addresses
- VPS or Dedicated Servers (unless VPS qualifies under Section 3)
- Software or license fees (e.g., cPanel, LiteSpeed, Softaculous)
- Setup or configuration charges
- Promotional or custom services
7. Requesting a Refund
To request a refund:
- Submit a cancellation request for the service in your PetalHost Client Area.
- Contact our billing team through one of the following:

Refund requests submitted outside the refund window or for ineligible services will not be approved.
8. Refund Processing Timeline and Method
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 15 business days.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:
- Credit Card → refunded to the same card
- PayPal → refunded to the same PayPal account
- UPI → refunded to the original UPI ID
- IMPS, Wallet, or Bank Transfer → refunded as account credit
Processing fees, gateway charges, forex conversion costs, and applicable taxes are non-refundable. PetalHost is not liable for any deductions made by payment gateways or financial institutions.
9. Fraud, Abuse, and Policy Violations
No refunds will be issued for accounts that are terminated or suspended due to violations of our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or any illegal activity. Abuse-related cancellations automatically void all refund eligibility.
10. Policy Changes
This refund policy is subject to change at any time. We recommend reviewing this page regularly. Continued use of PetalHost services after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
